Jumpstart Your Tech Career
No prior tech experience? No problem. Our apprenticeship program, in partnership with FIT, is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the tech industry.
How the Program Works
The apprenticeship begins with a semester where participants attend in-person classes with FIT on Mondays and Tuesdays. These sessions focus on building a solid foundation of technical knowledge. For the remaining three days, apprentices join Zinkworks in the office, where they work on a mix of training projects designed by our Learning and Development department and real-world client projects.
As the apprenticeship progresses, participants transition into client teams where they apply their skills and provide valuable contributions.

Aside from the obvious building of technical skills that I will go on to use during my career. Zinkworks offers an immersive graduate program designed to equip you with the skills and experience you need to succeed in the fast-paced world of technology.
How the Program Works
- Team-Based Learning: For the first 3-6 months, graduates work collaboratively to master the skills needed for real-world projects.
- Hands-On Training: Gain experience in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and more through pair programming, team programming, and hands-on workshops.
- Skill Building: Learn effective teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through presentations and collaborative activities.
- Mentorship & Support: Each graduate is paired with an experienced engineer for guidance, and regular check-ins with managers ensure you’re on track.
- Zinkworks Initiatives: Graduates will have opportunities to avail of internal company initiatives such as leadership development programs, industry certifications and much more.
- Collaborative Environment: Build strong relationships with customers and team members while contributing to innovative solutions.
